Show Tunes By Year is a revue series focusing on the musical theatre and history of a particular year. Turning the clocks back the evening features songs from musicals that opened in a particular year. The evening features local musical theatre performers with piano accompaniment and an informative, entertaining and nostalgic commentary by APPLAUSE! Artistic Producer Scott Ashton Swan. This revue series is inspired by the fabulous Broadway by the Year® series created by author/critic Scott Siegel presented at Town Hall (NYC), for which he writes, directs, and hosts.
