The 16th Annual OVATION! Awards, celebrating the Musicals of 2019 was held on Sunday January 26, 2020 at the Vancouver Academy of Music. Congratulations to all those who make musicals in the Lower Mainland, and to the 74 individuals & companies nominated for Awards. Outstanding Artistic Achievement
Bonnie Allan and Randy McCormick were both presented with Behind the Scenes Awards, Awarded to someone who has worked tirelessly “behind the scenes” for the musical theatre community of the Lower Mainland, and who exemplifies the spirit and dedication of late Diane Berladyn + Alana Van Dam.
The recipient of the Cheryl Hutcherson Award is Vuk Prodanovic who is currently attending Studio 58/Langara College.
