Education is a key pillar to the work of APPLAUSE! Musicals Society. Founder Scott Ashton Swan has written a number of compilation revue musicals that spotlight show-tunes on a theme.
Musicals 101 focuses on telling the stories of composers and lyricists where Showtunes By Year focuses on telling the historical stories of a particular year combined with the show music that opened that same year internationally, nationally and locally. APPLAUSE! has also been commissioned to write other compilation revues based on themes for special events throughout the lower mainland.
