APPLAUSE! Musicals Society is an amateur, community organization that has been sharing the excitement and passion of great show tunes through a series of entertaining, historical and educational concerts & revues since its founding 26 years ago in 1997. Year round programming includes a series of rare, shelved and forgotten musicals presented in concert, two educational musical revue series: Musicals 101 & SHOWTUNES! Year By Year. APPLAUSE! also coordinates an annual awards celebration called the OVATION! Awards to celebrant musical theatre in the Lower Mainland. An incorporated, non-profit, charitable society, APPLAUSE! is administered by a board of directors and volunteers and presently operates solely on donations & ticket revenue.
